The Ben Shaw Band
Ben Shaw - Lead vocals, guitar and keyboards.... Career highlights: SUN STUDIOS recording artist, penned songs for "Tom Wopat"(Epic/CBS), "Johnny Taylor"(Malaco Records), "Little Milton"(Malaco Records), "Vicki Baker" (Paula/Jewel). Received "Opryland Allstar Award", worked as studio musician in Nashville, Memphis and Jackson, MS. For eighteen years has led The Ben Shaw Band playing concerts, festivals, receptions, socials, nightclubs and corporate parties.
Walter Shaw - Bass guitar and vocals.... Career Highlights: Toured with "Little Richard" for several years, recorded and played with STAX recording artists "Sam and Dave", "Eddie Floyd" and "Willie Mitchell". Penned songs for "Johnny Taylor" and "James Brown", and has been with The Ben Shaw Band fifteen years.
Ken Shaw - Drums, percussion and vocals.... Career Highlights: Drumming for thirty years worldwide for many recording artists and bands such as "Ronnie Milsap", "Jo-el Sonnier". "B.B. King", "The Blues Boys" and many more. Has over twenty years experience as a studio drummer and has been with The Ben Shaw Band fifteen years.
Chalmers Davis - Keyboards... Career Highlights: Studio musician in Muscle Shoals and Nashville. Played on hundreds of albums and top ten singles. Some artists he has recorded or played with include: George Jones, Marie Osmand, Dobie Gray, Aretha Franklin, Greg Allman, Exile, Clarence Carter, Little Richard and many more. You have seen him play: The Jay Leno Show, David Letterman Show, American Music Awards and Nashville Now, just to name a few. For 16 years has played and recorded with Little Richard, the architect and originator of rock 'n' roll. Has been with The Ben Shaw Band three years.
Randy Dickerson - Trumpet, vocals and percussion... Career Highlights: Over twenty years stage experience. Performed with "The Temptations", "B.J. Thomas", Ringling Bros., "Dixieland Jazz Band" and many more. Has been with The Ben Shaw Band five years.
Steve Kincaid - Saxophone and vocals... Career Hightlights: Over fifteen years experience as live player, studio musician and instructor. Played with The Temptations, Bobby Shew and Ace Cannon. Has been with The Ben Shaw Band seven years.
